The new e-commerce industrial and logistics centre, which is the result of an investment in Chinese-Hungarian cooperation, is ready for construction. TSPC Group is assisting the general contractor Pallér Csarnok Kft. with design engineering services.
The warehouse is stocked with general-use goods available for online purchase and health materials in designated zones.
The warehouse will be constructed with cost-effective structures and technical solutions, with particular attention to the status of the global building materials market and the trade supply chains affecting other sectors. A special feature of the warehouse is the robotised technology with a system provided by the client. The façade of the building will be constructed with restrained use of colour, maintaining the character and functions of the building.
From a sustainability perspective, the aim is to enclose the site, install a small-scale solar panel array on the roof of the building and design a passive air conduction system created by TSPC’s Climate Energy Engineering Design (CEED) team for efficient, climate-free cooling and heating. The CEED team paid particular attention to testing to create the best possible engineering solution.
The planned building will be constructed with cost-effective design and technical solutions. The Smart Warehouse will create 210 new jobs, including 170 warehouse jobs and 40 office jobs. The long-term goal is to develop a facility and infrastructure that will also provide training for students oriented towards the warehousing and logistics industry.
