The Construction Excellence Award plaque was inaugurated in Nádasdy Castle. The Nádasdy Castle in Nádasdladány, which underwent a monumental reconstruction was opened to the public in 2021. The restoration of the castle was awarded the Construction Award in the category of Monument restoration and rehabilitation.

The general design tasks of the monumental reconstruction work were carried out by TSPC Kft., while the architectural design tasks were carried out by its partner – architect Lajos Ónodi Szabó. Thanks to the reconstruction work, the monument will be preserved in remarkable condition for future generations and a modern tourist function will be realized. In the course of the cultural and tourism development, preservation and technical tasks were also carried out.

As part of the National Palace Program and the National Castle Program, the project focusing on the development of the Nádasdy Castle in Nádasdladány for tourism purposes was realized in the investment of National Heritage Protection and Development Non-profit Kft., which is the asset manager and the operator of the property.

Established in 1999, the Prize is awarded every year in recognition of outstanding architectural and technical excellence in the field of architecture (buildings, works of art, building complexes). The Construction Excellence Award recognizes the construction and the complex process of its realization. For the twenty-second time, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Constructors’ Masterworks has announced its call for proposals. The award, established by the National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors and Construction Science Association, is the highest recognition of the achievements of the Hungarian construction industry.
